for the distracting shots , start casting SS and the moment you see the rockshot convulsionating ( it seems like a convulsion to me when they use distracting shot ) hit the Esc button to cancel your cast , this way you can make them trow away their interrupt.

you could use mending as a distraction so they waste there shot on that and then follow it with SS

Or you could just use Insidious Parasite on them - they usually won't interrupt it (1 sec cast) and it'll do 21 dmg a shot. If you wand them at the same time you're doing an additional 10-20 dmg, so with the two combined they usually don't last long.

great thread. thanks KCP and Undead Preacher. Here's a little variation to the build i found on gwonline.net by JeanDeathWish. She uses Dark aura to deal damage whenever life is sacrificed. Plus blood renewal, touch of agony and dark pact (all of which sacrifice health).
Havent tested it but it looks fun.
The skill to note is Aura of the lich, which halves yours health. Very clever to use this with protective spirit.
EDIT: health is halved to 27HP therefore taking 2 damage whenever hit!!!!

i've tried this build but i've found that KCP solo is better.... mainly do to energy and the fact that SS is my favorite skill in the game!

Insidious parasite >orison of healing
You added a few skills that IMO would never make it into my skill bar. I.E orison of healing. I know who you got the idea from and I think you misunderstood. You arent going to get far in FoW w/o insidious parasite / SS combo. Insidious parasite is like orison of healing and lasts 21 seconds, just scaled down in healing.....you're running 55 hps thats a heal of almost half your life per attack you cant beat it. Try to kill a lone shadow warrior with just SS....have fun
Anyways I made a guide on another forum I will post the link. I basically spoon feed the uw run. However I refuse to spoon feed the FoW run, this one is up to anyone that thinks they can do it. UW=intermediate, FoW=pro.
My videos give you the basic How-to. You just have to figure out the in betweens in the video clips

Hope there isnt any rules about posting links to other boards, If there is delete the link mods.
Direct link to all the solo videos, more to come once I quit fooling around with other things

Dark bomber build is godly. depending on which enchant is on top you can take -1 damage or -2 damage. I "used" to have 1 dark bomber build in my video section...but there wasnt alot of interest so I removed it
Dealing 50 aoe damage every 2-3 secs + almost 100 to the ToA target aint no joke on top of taking that minimal amount of damage.
Plus I kinda wanted to keep the spot to myself, after I found some nice rares
I did do a troll run earlier dark bomber style, killed both ranger and warrior boss w/o a problem. Caught a couple disrupting chops though I won't lie. Other then that run went smoothly.

Ya UW is a drag.....so few enemies to kill, so little challenge. Anti- farm has it's grips on me in both areas. But ironing out the first quest and making video has been bugging me so I've been going down to fow non-stop for a couple days. 2 abyssals at once without means to avoid knockdown can be a buzzkill, but I have done the quest alone before I started making the videos I just need to get rastigan on the same page as me and the video will be complete and posted for everyone. Then Ill do a solo dreamrider clip....and if im lucky kill a mindblade or 2.....(don't count on the mindblade thing )

Try to get a run to Droks Forge so you don't waste your money and buy the highest armor in the game.
The wand you're lookin for is given buy a collector just outside Dunes of Despair. He asks Jade Mandibles for it (5 if i remember well...)

Too bad u can't survive 15 enemies hitting you with 55hp, i think 27hp is faster with Griffins, Hydras, Trols, Minotaurs..
Omg! They killed Kenny!
P.S. Sto ih vise to bolje

One question, If you have 3 on your Soul Reaping, why put 2 different enchants on that add for energy when hit, when you can just put on a diffierent skill to take the place, and do some good for ya? I know it sounds kindof dumb, but... If you can replace 1 energy per time hit for... 2 hp regen, why not do it? You will kill them pretty fast anyway...

lies!
it actually doesn't matter what armor level you're wearing for a 55 build. you could wear starter armor even.
